The Great Big Jungle Boogie!

The second round of our Arts Council England funded musical play is about to kick off!

In 2019, festival-loving families across England enjoyed being immersed into our jungle drumming musical adventure, The Great Big Jungle Boogie. We supported our partner organisation, The Liz Winwood Foundation, with their first interactive play, and it featured lots of brightly coloured scenery, loads of fun play props and hand drums! (Djembes!)

We also toured around special education schools in Nottinghamshire with our fun and interactive play, and teachers’ feedback was amazing. Praised for sensitively adapting interactions and the animal-themed storyline, we succeeded in creating an exciting musical theatre piece that fully accessible to all.

For this second round, you’ll find us in lots of our favourite schools in Nottingham city, where we’ll be entertaining nursery and reception children with our jungle themed story. We’ll be making lots of music together and singing all our favourite songs.

We do have a few performance slots remaining for schools, so lease get in touch if you’d like us to visit your school or Early Years setting. The Great Big Jungle Boogie is suitable for children from one year old up to the age of six years old.

(Please note that the name of our play will soon be changing to ‘A Party in the Rainforest.”
